A significant part of its successful genetics, also known as Kaboom, is the result of careful breeding by Kannabia Seed Company. We aimed to combine species in a reliable way to bring out the best of well-regarded varieties, and we succeeded. On one side, an indica foundation with high-quality Afghan genetics ensures efficient development and a noticeable relaxing effect. On the other, Reina de Africa (Queen of Africa) combines a flavorful Thai strain with an AK-47, known for its efficiency and productivity.

The result is a sativa strain with a fruity and spicy (even peppery) aroma from its Thai ancestry, and impressive growth, productivity, and potency from its Afghan and South American roots. This blend earned second prize in the sativa category at the 2017 GuiaWeed contest in Chile.

Kaboom features a high THC level (above 20%) and is easy to grow, producing resin well-suited for extractions with any technique.

How to: Kaboom

Outdoors, this plant's regal nature is unmistakable. In favorable weather, it can exceed two meters in height, and with top pruning, it will spread out in the surrounding area. The flowering phase lasts between 60 and 65 days, although it might seem to need more time. By the end of September, you can harvest about 450 grams per plant.

This marijuana seed is easy to cultivate, requiring no special intervention in its nutrition or development if you prefer simplicity. Thanks to its AK-47 heritage, it is particularly productive and well-suited for outdoor growth but can also thrive indoors. However, as a true sativa, it’s important to keep the EC levels low.

For an indoor crop of La Reina de Africa, the Queen of Africa, we recommend using a SCROG screen or Sea of Green technique to control growth, maximize its productive capacity, and keep it within the ideal indoor height of 60 centimeters. This way, you can achieve about 500 grams per square meter.

The Kaboom plant grows with wide, open branches perpendicular to the trunk and many fine leaves, making it thick and leafy. It is resistant to pests and has well-balanced proportions, with 60% sativa and 40% indica.
